There's another OS installed, so I would like to recover the factory Windows 8 system. I have the license product key, but neither I nor the previous owner know which version was the original. I've downloaded the media creation tool to create an ISO for the system recovery, but as first step the tool requires which edition I would like to download 8. We have created a very easy to use and comprehensive FAQ to help you with the system recovery process.

It is more reliable, has more driver support and is faster than the 64 Bit version. Some form of device driver is required for the hardware to operate in any way. Many driver diskss or resource diskss, as they are sometimes called, are normally just full of compressed, out of date and hard to install driver files.

This driver disks will supply you with all the very latest XMA drivers as the driver disks update system will then also go on-line, update, replace and remove any old or broken device drivers. As a free extra bonus you can use this disk up to 3 times on 3 different computers. The password reset or removal process is very easy but in order for this to work perfectly and legally, you need to have permission of the computer owner to use this product.

This is a very powerful tool that was developed in house, for ease of use in mind. Only if your partition is undamaged can you use the recovery partition!

Use the recovery DVDs instead if the partition is corrupt. You can keep other partitions and erase the one you pick if you choose the Recover system to a partition option.

All partitions on your hard disc will be deleted if you select Recover system to full HD. Select it if you choose to install the recovery system on a partition. When using the recovery partition, follow these instructions:.

The option to Recover Windows to the first partition alone will destroy only the first partition, leaving the remaining partitions intact. To finish the process, follow the directions on the next screen. You have three options at this point, similar to the recovery partition instructions above:. Recover Windows to the first partition only the first partition will be deleted; the other partitions will remain , Recover Windows to entire HD all partitions on the hard drive will be deleted , and Recover Windows to complete HD with 2 partitions all partitions on the hard drive will be deleted this will delete all your hard drive partitions and create 2 new ones: C and D.
